ACCESS has installed a special section of this website (Many thanks to floyd for the server support!)

One of our slogans is "The Open Source Space Program"

Here is one way that slogan has meaning: we are going to build a community of space advocates that will make a difference. We are going to use open-source software to do it.

xoops is one of many packages available for free - given server-side support - that integrate traditional Bulletin Board Forums with other features on a website. It's all driven by the same database, and the software lets you build up the site as you wish. Of all these packages, xoops seems to be the most interested in building communities, so we're using xoops.

This link will take you to the xoops section of this website. The section you are leaving worked for getting our message across, but we need sophisticated tools to pull off this collaboration we're talking about. We need you to register with a valid e-mail address to see what the community section is all about.

(Hint: gmail works great! It is FREE but invitation only. If you need an invitation e-mail spacester.access@gmail.com and I'll send you one. I will ignore the e-mail address you use to ask, and you can have a gmail address for use with our site. You'll be glad you did, gmail works GREAT for conversations with friends!)
